The Trouble With Trekkies Online Play

We now bring you, through the wonders of technology, a way to play the Trouble With Trekkies online! Simply download Magic Apprentice from Dragonstar Studios, which comes with full documentation. Apprentice is a virtual card table for Magic: The Gathering. It does not enforce anyrules, simply allows you to move cards about. Then download the unnofficial Trouble With Trekkies patch here. Unzip the file, and overwrite the original Apprentice files of the same name (distro.dat and expansion.dat are in the main apprentice folder, cardinfo.dat is in the sets subfolder) and voila, you're set for online play.
If you want to play sealed deck, we have provided for that too. The official Trouble with Trekkies sealed deck kit consists of 7 boosters of Trouble with Trekkies, each containing 10 Rares and 2 Uncommons, and 10 boosters of Trouble with Sealed Decks, a special 3 card booster containing 1 Pint, 1 Host Tournament and 1 Drinking Session. This should be all you need to build your deck (we've tested this), so all you need is an opponent and you're away.

If we have enough interested players, we will hold the inaugral Trouble With Trekkies Online sanctioned tournament during the period of 20th-25th of November. There will be 5 rounds of Swiss, played one each day. You will have until midnight (GMT) on each day to play the game and email us the results. You will then be contacted with your opponents details to arrange the next game. If we do not receive results by midnight on the day, the game will be scored as a true tie. The format will be Standard Constucted. If you want to sign up, email Snap.
